. ONE. . Hello, everyone, and welcome to my carrd! I currently have multiple accounts, so you may know me already from those, but just in case you don't: The mun behind this account's name is Autumn! I go by she/her pronouns, and I'm also 22, so this URL will be for those who are 18+ only. I like to think that I am a pretty easygoing person and thus, I don't have a lot of rules. But please still read through these as they are important things to know when interacting with me.. TWO. . This is a single-muse, as well as mutuals only blog. This means that I will only interact with those who I'm following and who are also following me back. I know that this is a DC account, but I just want to let you all know that I'm totally open to crossovers if you write an OC / canon character in another fandom. Or, of course, if you have a fandomless one! I am also duplicate-friendly and multi-muses are something I am absolutely A-okay with interacting with as well. Whenever it comes to personals, however, you can follow me if you have one. Though please do not reblog anything of mine onto your account or comment on any threads I have going on. If you are a sideblog RP account, however, then I'm more than cool with you interacting with me and encourage it in fact!. THREE. . Now, I'm just going to say this: no god-modding. I am alright with some minor god-modding if it helps advance the plot of the roleplay, such as my character giving your character an object. But this does not include inner or outer dialogue and should be something my muse would reasonably do. At least, in the context that it's about your muse with reference to mine. If you do this, I also expect that this means you will be willing to accept criticism and critique if I don't agree with what my muse had done. Anyhow, though, my activity on this account will fluctuate and stands at low to medium activity at the moment. Therefore, there is guaranteed to be times where I won't be active because of responsibilities that I have in real life. And as such, I ask that you please be patient with me regarding replies.I also tend to post a lot of OOC stuff on my accounts so if that is something that you don't want to clog up your dash, then my account may not be for you. Icons are not something I use personally, but if you wish to use them in threads with me, then I say go for it! The only thing that I ask in regards to formatting when roleplaying with me is that you don't use fonts that are hard to read. My replies typically end up being multiple paragraphs but don't feel pressured at all to match the length of my replies if you don't want to!! I mostly just make my replies a bit longer so my RP partners will have more to reply to, really.. FOUR. . Now, I don't really have anything in the way of triggers myself, but I do ask that you please include general trigger warnings in any replies to me. I would also just like to say that I don't really do exclusives, but I will be doing mains! They will actually be tagged in this carrd and anyone could become one, so trust me when I say it isn't personal at all if I don't select you as a main. And just as a little note here... I will not tolerate any sort of bigotry, such as homophobia, xenophobia, sexism, racism, and more. So, if I am somehow made aware that you have practiced one of these types of discrimination, it will result in an immediate block.
. FIVE. . Ahh, now for everyone's favorite topic: shipping (Nah, I'm just messing with y'all about this haha, but I did want to touch upon this in my rules). I am definitely open to shipping with other muses in regards to my characters! So, if you'd like to see if your muse and mine would have any romantic chemistry, then I'd totally be down for that as well :) And this account will be multiship! Though, having said that, I do reserve the right to be slightly selective with whom I want to ship with Ana and this is mainly because of the nature of his character. This is because he is a part of Batman's rogues gallery, so he is a villain, despite being more on the 'chaotic neutral' side of things than anything else. Also having said that... this is a reworked version of Merrymaker, so a lot of events if not all of them that happened in the comics surrounding him were likely erased and changed. Thus, if you ever find yourself needing some clarification on something in reference to Ana's character, please let me know as I will never judge anyone for reaching out to me! Especially in this case.. SIX. . There will be triggering themes included in this account, which I will always tag with 'tw: (insert topic here).' This is because I want to foster as safe of an environment on my account as possible. Topics such as terminal illness, murder, blood and gore (though I'll never write depictions of extreme gore or anything of the like), discussions of a mentally ill parent / PTSD and mental illness in general, suicide, self-harm, and body horror are a part of this.. SEVEN. . Plotting is absolutely something that I encourage y'all to do with me. However, it is not required to interact with me, so don't ever be afraid to send me random sentence starters or questions in my ask-box if you want to! I love creating new relationships between characters, platonic or otherwise. But if you would like to plot with me, I'd very much be up for that and so feel free to send me an IM / reach out to me in some way if you want to talk about dynamics / potential plots.. EIGHT. . Last, but not least, there is liable to be some nsfw / smut on this account. But you may blacklist the tag if you don't wish to see that by typing in this without the parenthesis and period tw: (usfw;). I will also not interact with 'genderbent' muses or any characters from the Harry Potter franchise. I know that I had written this in a previous section but I will also not interact with anyone under the age of 18. Thus, if I see that you are a minor and have followed me, this will result in me blocking you. I just don't feel comfortable with it as an adult.Also, unless the source has been deactivated or you just can't find a suitable resource blog to do so from, please do not reblog memes from me. This kind of thing is more of a pet peeve than a rule but it does tends to make it harder for me to find replies to threads I have going on. Though, I do understand that mistakes happen.

Although some members of the Lazarev family regard it as having a 'cursed bloodline' due to the long line of tragedies that have befallen it... on June 22nd, 1990, the birth of Anastasiy was viewed as a miracle. This is because both his mother and father had been trying for a second child for several years, with no positive results - but then Ana came along and they couldn't be happier. Kolya, his older brother, was also very cherished and he also happened to become one of the only friends Ana formed as he grew up. Being bullied and excluded / ostracized from his peers was unfortunately a rather common occurrence especially in grade school — him feeling a lot of anxiety in social situations, and struggling to connect with them both due to this, as well as experiencing selective mutism. Around the time he entered kindergarten, Ana's father was also deployed as he was an active soldier in the Russian Military, and this put a lot of strain on the Lazarev family in general; for, Sergei wasn't guaranteed to return from War and because Viktoriya was a mortician, she would often be on-call for her job.This meant that Anastasiy and his brother, Kolya, could go with only seeing their mother very briefly at times and they were often left with a babysitter watching them. On the positive side, spending so much time together meant that Anastasiy and Kolya formed a close bond to each other as I previously mentioned (since he was one of Ana's friends). On the negative side, though, the treatment that he was receiving for his Selective Mutism was slowed because this caused more emotional and behavioral challenges to arise in him (such as him feeling abandoned and having to suffer through reoccurring bouts of depression). Learning RSL, or Russian Sign Language soon became integral for him to communicate in the classroom. And, although his mother was afraid of what unintended consequences there might be on Anastasiy if he got onto medication for years, he himself wanted to see if it would help him.Subsequently, Upon trying a medication for his social anxiety, Ana could feel himself start to get better with communicating verbally with other's. By the time that Ana entered the fifth grade, he no longer felt like he couldn't physically speak in school and other things seemed to start to look up for them as his mother revealed to him that his father would be coming home for good from his time in the Military. This was when he was ten and following this, Viktoriya had landed a job at another firm as a mortician with better hours; so he was naturally excited to be able to spend more time with both his parents. But when Sergei, Anastasiy's father, had come home this time... he was a very different person.Viktoriya then went on to explain to Ana and his brother, Kolya, that it was because he'd been through a lot during his second deployment; but that was a understatement in Ana's opinion. Because he was still young, he didn't quite fully understand what his father was going through, but Sergei appeared to constantly be on edge, felt disconnected from the rest of his family and had frequent nightmares surrounding what he'd experienced during his second deployment. And that unfortunately wasn't all, as through the next three years, Sergei's mental health would only worsen. It reached a devastating peak however when Ana was the first to come home one day at age 13 and not be greeted by his father like he usually would.This led to him becoming immediately concerned, as he searched the house for Sergei. Anastasiy found him dead in the bathroom that day, presumably as a result of him having taken his own life, and things were never the same after that. Ana felt like his whole world had fallen apart. And no one, not even himself, could put the pieces back together. Anastasiy's mother, Viktoriya, also suffered from a mental breakdown after Sergei's suicide and due to how she had been privately treating her GAD for years (generalized anxiety disorder, which she had learned to cope with rather well over the years), both Ana and Kolya only found out that she had mental health issues herself afterwards. The three of them seemed to have no choice but to try to band together to come to terms with the terrible reality behind Sergei's death — and this was arguably the most difficult part of Ana's life thus far.Ana's selective mutism felt like it had returned (albeit for a brief time period) and he began to withdraw from other's, becoming somewhat of a hermit for years. Only when he had the courage to seek help from a therapist and began taking more depression medication did this start to improve a little. Viktoriya's own anxiety was actually so debilitating for month's after his death that she'd unfortunately lost her job and Rudy, or Rudolf Lazarev who is Anastasiy's uncle stepped in to help their family by allowing them to stay with him until she got back on her feet. Ana missed month's of school because of the trauma that he carried from this as well.And if it weren't for his teachers putting aside his work for him to do at home, Ana likely would've found it even more difficult to proceed with his education. It took about a year for Viktoriya's anxiety to become less severe, but just like with her son, she was never quite the same again after Sergei died.
Bouts of extreme anxiety, as well as having dissociative episodes became commonplace for Ana's mother. Viktoriya found herself a job with better hours at a new firm, however, and persisted through it for her children. Ana's brother Kolya then moved out shortly after he turned eighteen, even though he originally planned to stay at home for college. He just felt like he needed to get away from Russia and all the painful memories he'd experienced over the past couple of years. At age eighteen, Ana actually received an unexpected letter in the mail from his brother Kolya then detailing that he was in Gotham City in the US and that he knew college was likely something that was the last thing on his mind... but that they had a good pre-med program at Gotham University, as he remembered Ana had been interested in Medicine.From there, he decided that maybe a change of scenery was something he needed, so he decided to take the plunge to apply at Gotham University as a international student. And miraculously enough, he got in, which led to Anastasiy leaving Russia as well as reconnecting with his brother once he got to Gotham. Ana's memory of his father's suicide hadn't left his mind, but he was actively trying to get better and push through the pain in hopes that he'd make his father proud of him from wherever he might've been. He graduated with his undergrad degree from Gotham U and at that point, Viktoriya herself decided to move to the states so she'd be closer to her family. It was actually during his sophmore year of undergrad that Anastasiy met Dannika, whom also happened to be a Russian Immigrant, and they started to see each other romantically after being friends for a while. Unexpectantly, however, she had revealed that she was pregnant to Ana shortly after she turned 25. He was happy about this though and promised that he would be there for Dannika all throughout her pregnancy, which he made do on.Regardless of this, however, she had started to show signs that she did not feel as positively about having a child close to when she was full-term. Ana tried to reassure her that she would love their baby, but it soon became clear after Raisa — Anastasiy's daughter — was born that Dannika didn't want anything to do with her as she actively neglected her and this raised a lot of alarm's in Ana's head. Plus, she appeared to be falling out of love with Anastasiy and after he found out that she was cheating on him (as he began to suspect after catching a glimpse of her text messages), he filed for full custody of Raisa; and it was heartbreaking in a way because Dannika didn't even seem to have the slightest desire to fight for custody of their daughter. Ana won full custody of Raisa then by the time she was two years old and Dannika was out of both of their lives.Now, Anastasiy believed he could relax and just enjoy his life with his daughter; If only things like getting sick didn't happen. At four years old, it became necessary for Ana to take Raisa to the doctor for a persistent cough and shortness of breath. He then learned that this wasn't due to a bad case of pneumonia like he might've thought but because she had a rare disease called pulmonary fibrosis that is a disease where there is scarring of the lungs — called fibrosis — which makes it difficult to breathe. And its a fatal, progressive disease that eventually leads to death, is what they told Ana; though treatments could help relieve symptoms and slow its progression. He of course opted to do whatever he could to improve Raisa's quality of life then.Regardless, Her situation became rather dire over time when the scarring of her lungs appeared to be speeding up and in response to this, Ana started to pull out every possible thing he could to try to help her himself. Due to him being a research pathologist, he in fact started to try to find a cure to the disease, though her condition didn't seem to improve over time and no matter what he tried; Ana couldn't find a permanent solution that would rid Raisa of the disease. This is when he turned to religion in search of help as he began to pray for God to help her in any way he could. But his prayers seemed to go unanswered. It was only when Ana became truly desperate that he decided to look into other avenues, which he'd been advised against by a psychic he visited in hopes he might gain some sort of insight into what he should do through her.Raisa had become Ana's world, however, and he was determined to do anything for her in order to save her. So as she was on her death-bed, he turned to doing a summoning ritual that he fully believed wouldn't work at first for a death god. This god did in fact show up despite his doubts though and he pleaded to her to save his daughter. The choice words that ended up persuading the death god to help Ana to do so were 'I'll do anything,' and just like that, she was saved. But there was a debt to be repaid which she told Ana before he agreed to do so and that she technically isn't supposed to meddle in the affairs of the living, so he'd have to become something in between in order for this plan to not backfire.This resulted in Anastasiy effectively becoming a reanimated corpse, or zombie, and having to take on a very unethical deal to deliver all of the souls that would've died as a part of a 'chain reaction' (or the butterfly effect) after Raisa herself did, but didn't because he prevented her from dying. Ana tries not to think about the question of whether the ends justify the means in this case however. Though, it does still plague him, as is it really right to save one person in exchange for dooming others?
